6 person gunned down, 7 injured during wedding ceremony in Lucky Marwat
LUCKY MARWAT, April 24: Six people, including children, were gunned down during a wedding ceremony in the village of Khanzadakhil, Lucky Marwat.
According to police, the incident happened when opponents reportedly launched an attack on the wedding celebration, opening fire indiscriminately. As a result, six individuals tragically lost their lives on the spot. Seven others sustained injuries and have been rushed to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Local authorities revealed that the deceased and injured are residents of Ghazni Khel village. Reports suggest that the victims had a longstanding feud with the attackers, which may have led to this violent confrontation.
Following the incident, the hospital where the injured were taken has declared an emergency situation. The police are conducting an investigation into the matter to apprehend the perpetrators and ascertain the motive behind the attack.
