ANF foils major drug smuggling attempt at Lahore Airport

LAHORE: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) thwarted a significant attempt to smuggle a large quantity of ice drugs abroad during an intelligence-based operation at Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore.
According to the ANF spokesperson, the drugs were concealed by absorbing them into clothes destined for Sharjah. Two Lahore residents involved in sending the cargo have been arrested.
The seized ice has been sent to a laboratory for separation from the fabric, with the exact quantity to be determined following lab tests.
A case has been registered against the accused under the Anti-Narcotics Act, and an investigation is underway.
