Attock Police Nab Three in Electricity Theft Crackdown

The crackdown on electricity theft continues in Attock district as authorities apprehended three more individuals engaged in illegal electricity connections based on information provided by WAPDA officers.

The Sub Divisional Officer (SDO) of Pandigheb notified the Pandigheb police station regarding Zaheeruddin, son of Manwar Deen Suknah Pandigheb, who was allegedly stealing electricity by directly tapping into the main WAPDA wire. Promptly responding to the report, the Pandigheb police registered a case for further investigation and successfully apprehended the accused, Zaheeruddin.

Similarly, the SDO of Hasan Abdal alerted the Hasan Abdal police station about Fakhri Zaman, son of Sher Muhammad Sukna Hasan Abdal, who was reportedly involved in electricity theft by illegally connecting to the main WAPDA wire. The Hasan Abdal police swiftly registered a case, initiated an investigation, and apprehended the accused, Fakhri Zaman.

In a parallel operation, the SDO of Fateh Jang informed the Fateh Jang police station about Sajjad, son of Lal Khan Sukna Fateh Jang, who was allegedly stealing electricity through an illicit connection to the main WAPDA wire. Acting promptly, the Fateh Jang police registered a case and successfully arrested the suspect, Sajjad Khan, during the course of their investigation.

The crackdown on electricity theft underscores the commitment of authorities to tackle this illegal practice, ensuring fair distribution of electricity resources and maintaining law and order in Attock district.
