LAHORE, Feb 21: Peshawar Zalmi's captain, Babar Azam, in a remarkable display of skill and prowess, has etched his name in cricket history by becoming the youngest cricketer to score 10,000 runs in the T20 format during a match at Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium.
Azam achieved this milestone in just 271 innings, surpassing the previous record held by West Indies' Chris Gayle, who achieved the feat in 285 innings.
Notably, India's Virat Kohli follows closely behind, ranking third with 299 innings, while David Warner and Australia's Aaron Finch claim the fourth and fifth positions, respectively, with 303 and 327 innings.
