Ban on development funds, appointments lifted after general elections

RAWALPINDI, Feb 13: The ban on the restoration of development funds, appointments, transfers, and new appointments, imposed by the Election Commission until the conclusion of the 2024 general elections, has been lifted on Tuesday in Rawalpindi. The ban, which was in effect until Monday, February 12, has now been rescinded.

Government employees of various institutions will now receive their salaries, medical bills, and travel allowances (TA) and daily allowances (DA) as usual. Additionally, with the ban lifted, institutions have decided to resume all incomplete development schemes that were put on hold during the election period.
