 Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, NI (M), is on an official visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), where he has engaged in high-level talks aimed at reinforcing bilateral defense relations and discussing regional security dynamics.

Meetings with UAE Defense Leadership

During his visit, General Mirza held separate meetings with Mohammed Fadal Al Mazrouei, UAE’s Minister of State for Defence, and Lieutenant General Issa Saif Mohammed Al Mazrouei, the Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces. Additionally, the CJCSC met Dr. Nasser Humaid Al Nuaimi, secretary General of the Tawazun Council.

Discussions centered around enhancing defense cooperation between the two countries, with a particular focus on regional security challenges. Both sides acknowledged the importance of strengthening military ties to address the evolving security landscape in the region.

Visit to Tawazun Industrial Park

General Mirza’s visit also included a tour of the *Tawazun Industrial Park*, one of the UAE’s premier defense manufacturing hubs. The CJCSC witnessed the state-of-the-art facilities and technological advancements at the park, highlighting the UAE’s commitment to developing a robust defense industrial base.
