Controversial umpiring mars Sindh Premier League's second day

KARACHI, Jan 27: The Sindh Premier League's second day at the National Stadium Karachi was marred by controversy, as questions surfaced regarding umpiring decisions and other issues.

During the match between Ghazis and Mirpur Khas, a contentious lbw decision was given against Ghazis batsman Mohammad Akhlaq. Moreover, Mirpur Khas bowler Samin Gul found himself declared out despite not appealing, raising eyebrows over the umpire's decision. The incident was captured on video and quickly went viral on social media platforms.

This controversy follows the league's opening day, where a match was delayed due to one team's kit not arriving on time. Additionally, there were allegations of some players being involved in match-fixing during the KPL organized under the same league's management.
