CTD Presents Osama bin Laden's Close Associate in Court

Gujranwala: The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) presented Amin-ul-Haq, a close associate of Osama bin Laden, before the court today.

Amin-ul-Haq was brought before District and Sessions Judge Javed Iqbal Warraich. The CTD requested the court to place the accused on judicial remand. Accepting the request, the court sent Amin-ul-Haq to jail on a 14-day judicial remand.

Amin-ul-Haq, an Afghan national with alleged ties to Al-Qaeda, was arrested in Gujrat. His name is listed on the United Nations' global list of terrorists.
