According to police reports, the victims, identified as Imtiaz and Muhammad Ali, were heading home after closing their shops when assailants on a motorcycle ambushed them.
The tragic event unfolded near Garib Nawaz Masjid, Lashari Medical Store, Bilal Colony, on the main road of the Industrial Area in Korangi. Imtiaz, aged 36, a father of six, and Muhammad Ali, aged 40, a father of five, were residents of the area and childhood friends.
