Former President Zardari Enters Ring, Nomination Papers Filed for NA-207

Nawab shah: Zardari submitted his nomination papers on Friday from Nawab Shah for National Assembly constituency NA-207.

According to sources, Zardari's sister, Dr. Ezra Fazal Pechuho, handled the official paperwork submission. This move sets the stage for a potentially fierce contest in NA-207, with candidates from prominent parties already vying for the seat. Farooq Chandio of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Zahid Shah of the Grand Democratic Alliance (GDA) have also filed their nominations.

Meanwhile, another PPP stalwart, Ijaz Jakhrani, submitted his nomination papers for NA-190 in Jacobabad. This adds to the growing list of candidates from various parties across the country, signaling a potentially diverse and competitive electoral race.

Zardari's entry into the fray injects a significant dose of experience and political weight into the NA-207 contest.
