Fraudulent Insurance Policy Scam Plagues Patuki Bank, Retired Army Officer Seeks Justice

PATUKI, Feb 11 : A distressing case of fraud has emerged in Patuki involving the staff of a private bank allegedly conspiring to fraudulently obtain a life insurance policy worth over 50 thousand rupees from an elderly citizen. The victim, Muhammad Akram Nowshahi, a retired Naik from the Army residing in Veeram Chak No. 4, Patuki, holds an account at Patuki Habib Bank Islami Branch 5355.

According to Nowshahi, bank staff, including Nimra Javed, colluded with the bank manager to deceive him into purchasing the insurance policy. Despite assurances from the staff to refund the money, Nowshahi has yet to receive any reimbursement. The retired citizen expressed his anguish, stating that he has been subjected to verbal abuse and harassment by the bank staff, exacerbating his ordeal.

Nowshahi's appeals for restitution and accountability have been directed to the highest echelons of authority, including the Chief of Army Staff, the President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, and the Chairman of the State Bank of Pakistan. He implores immediate intervention to rectify the injustice and ensure stringent action against the implicated staff members at Habib Bank Patuki.

In response to inquiries, the bank manager has indicated that an investigation into the matter is underway. However, Nowshahi remains resolute in his pursuit of justice, demanding swift and decisive action to recover his stolen funds and hold the perpetrators accountable for their actions.
