Hamza Khan Clinches Asian Junior Squash Championship

ISLAMABAD, June 30: Top-seed Hamza Khan of Pakistan triumphed at the 31st Asian Junior Squash Championship held in Islamabad, winning the Under-19 final. Additionally, Pakistan's Sohail Adnan emerged victorious in the Under-13 category.

In the Under-19 final, Hamza Khan faced off against Malaysia's third-seed Haris Danial. Khan secured a straightforward victory with scores of 5-11, 10-12, and 9-11.

The Under-17 final saw Pakistan's Abdullah Nawaz competing against Malaysia's Nikhleshwar. Despite initially leading 2-0, Nawaz was eventually defeated as Nikhleshwar made a strong comeback to win 2-3.

Furthermore, Sohail Adnan claimed the Under-13 title for Pakistan.

Overall, Pakistan's performance at the event was commendable, securing 2 gold, 2 silver, and 4 bronze medals. Malaysia won 3 titles, India secured 2, and Hong Kong clinched 1 title.
