Heli Safari Service Takes Flight for Tourists at Shandur Polo Festival
PESHAWAR, June 12 :- Tourists visiting the Shandur Polo Festival in Chitral, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, will soon have a chance to experience the majestic Himalayas from a whole new perspective. The Department of Tourism, Culture, Archeology and Museum (DoTCAM) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has announced the launch of a heli safari service during the festival.
According to detail issued by the authorities, this initiative, spearheaded by Advisor Tourism and Culture Zahid Chanzeb, aims to provide tourists with a unique and unforgettable experience. The breathtaking aerial views of the region will undoubtedly be a major draw for visitors.
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between DG Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority Barkatullah Marwat and Petronet Aviation to facilitate the helicopter tours.
Tourists can choose from a variety of packages catering to their preferences. These packages include aerial tours of Chitral Airport, Kailash Valley, Lowari Tunnel, Trich Mir Peak, Qaqalisht Meadows, and of course, the Shandur Polo Festival itself.
