IHC writes letter to “X” in tracing Leaked Data of Justice Babar Sattar

ISLAMABAD, July 02 : Progress in the contempt of court case involving Justice Babar Sattar sees Islamabad High Court taking decisive action to trace the source of leaked personal data.
Following directives from the Islamabad High Court Larger Bench, the Registrar High Court has penned a crucial letter to the Chief Legal Officer of a prominent social networking website, referred to as X. The letter, facilitated through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Pakistani High Commission in the US, urges X to assist Pakistani investigative agencies in identifying the origin of the data leak.
Judicial sources reveal that the letter emphasizes X's cooperation in pinpointing the accounts responsible for leaking personal information belonging to Justice Babar Sattar and his family. It also encourages X to send a representative to the High Court, highlighting previous collaborations with other governments in similar cases.
