Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi's Physical Remand Extended by 7 Days in Toshakhana Case
Rawalpindi: An accountability court has extended the physical remand of PTI founder Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi, by seven more days in the new Toshakhana reference case.
During the hearing, the court approved the National Accountability Bureau's (NAB) request for an extension of their physical remand. The NAB had initially sought a 14-day extension.
The NAB presented a progress report on the investigation conducted at Adiala Jail, and the court scheduled the next hearing for July 29.
Previously, on July 14, the Islamabad Accountability Court had granted an 8-day physical remand of former Prime Minister Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi in the same case.
