Islamabad Court Grants Bail to PTI Secretariat Employees Arrested from Office

Islamabad: The District and Sessions Court in Islamabad has approved post-arrest bail for two women arrested from the PTI Secretariat.

The bail hearing was conducted by Judicial Magistrate Shabbir Bhatti. During the session, FIA prosecutor argued that the women were involved in running a campaign against two state institutions and were employed in the media cell. The prosecutor claimed that granting bail could impact the case and emphasized the seriousness of the charges and existing evidence.

Defense lawyer Ali Bukhari challenged the evidence and requested specifics about the women's roles. In response, the prosecutor stated the employees were hired for a specific purpose.

Following the arguments, the court granted bail to the two women on the condition of furnishing bail bonds of PKR 50,000 each.
