Islamabad High Court Declares Sanam Javed's Arrest Illegal, Dismisses Petition for Release

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court, presided over by Justice Hasan Aurangzeb, ruled on the case concerning the arrest of Sanam Javed, ultimately dismissing the petition for her release.
During the hearing, Mian Ashfaq Advocate represented Sanam Javed alongside the Attorney General. The Attorney General informed the court that Balochistan Police had not sought Sanam Javed's transit remand, thus freeing her to return to her province.
Highlighting alleged social media posts, the Attorney General raised concerns over Sanam Javed's language usage. Justice Hasan Aurangzeb questioned Sanam Javed's lawyer, Mian Ashfaq, on ensuring her future conduct.
In response, Mian Ashfaq assured the court that Sanam Javed would refrain from using inappropriate language henceforth. Subsequently, the court declared Sanam Javed's arrest illegal following the arguments presented.
The decision marks a significant development in the legal proceedings surrounding Sanam Javed's case.
