Islamabad: Justice Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri, speaking at the Islamabad High Court Bar ceremony, emphasized the judiciary's accountability, stating, "If we do not give justice, Allah's court is there." Justice Jahangiri, who is also a member of the bar, called for collaboration between the bench and bar to address the bar's longstanding issues.
Highlighting the importance of punctuality and preparation, he noted, "Lawyers should take care of court timings and appear with proper case preparation." Justice Jahangiri also shared his personal routine, mentioning, "I read the Holy Quran and Durood Sharif before listening to cases every day."
He reiterated the duty of judges to deliver justice impartially, warning that failing to do so makes them accountable in Allah's court. "A judge who does not make decisions based on truth and justice is a questioner and a criminal of Allah," he stated firmly.
