Khan, Bushra Bibi to be Indicted in Tosha Khana Case on January 4th

Islamabad: The Islamabad Accountability Court has set January 4th as the date for the indictment of former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife Bushra Bibi in the Tosha Khana reference. The case alleges improper handling of gifts received from foreign dignitaries during Khan's time in office.

Judge Muhammad Bashir held a hearing at Adiala Jail, where Khan is currently detained, to provide both Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi with copies of the reference and related documents. Following this procedure, the court adjourned the hearing until January 4th to officially indict the accused.

Separately, the court postponed the hearing on Khan's bail applications in the £190 million money laundering case until December 30th. This case involves accusations of transferring funds from abroad without proper channels.

These developments mark a significant step forward in both legal proceedings against Khan. The upcoming indictment in the Tosha Khana case will formally lay out the charges against him, while the bail hearing in the £190 million case could have a critical impact on his freedom of movement during the legal process.
