KP Assembly Requisitioned for Urgent session to oppose potential Ban on PTI
PESHAWAR: A formal requisition has been submitted to convene a meeting of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly to discuss and pass a resolution against the potential ban on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI).
According to Express News, government members of the KP Assembly have submitted the requisition to the Provincial Assembly Secretary. The document, signed by 40 members, calls for an urgent session to address the pressing issue.
The primary agenda for the upcoming assembly meeting will be the presentation of a resolution opposing the possible ban on PTI. This move underscores the assembly members' commitment to safeguarding political freedoms and opposing restrictions on the party.
