KP CM aide highlights CPEC phase two as a transformative era for Pakistan
Advisor to the Chief Minister on Finance, Muzzammil Aslam, highlighted the transformative potential of the second phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) during a seminar at City University Peshawar, organized by China Window and the Chinese Cultural Center. He emphasized leveraging Chinese expertise to drive sustainable development, citing operational factories in the Rashakai Economic Zone as catalysts for economic uplift in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Addressing challenges like skilled labor migration and investor confidence, he called for proactive measures to maximize CPEC’s benefits. Other speakers, including educationists and business leaders, underscored CPEC’s strategic importance for poverty alleviation, industrial growth, and stronger Pakistan-China ties. The seminar concluded with a call for collaborative action and awareness campaigns to ensure CPEC’s success as a cornerstone of Pakistan’s development.
