KP Govt distances itself from PTI ban issue

PESHAWAR : The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has opted out of involvement in the PTI ban controversy, shifting responsibility to the party's central leadership.
Provincial Law Minister Aftab Alam clarified that decisions regarding the federal government's fate rest solely with PTI's central leadership. While the provincial government will be consulted, Alam criticized the federal government's legal stance as weak.
Alleging misuse of Article 6, Alam accused the federal government of destabilizing the country through regime changes based on dubious grounds. He questioned the legitimacy of their actions and challenged their failure to substantiate allegations with concrete evidence.
