Legal Hurdles Threaten Khan's Political Return in Mianwali

MIANWALI, The Returning Officer (RO) has reserved his decision on the nomination papers submitted by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan for National Assembly Constituency NA-89 in Mianwali.
During the scrutiny hearing today, Khan's lawyers defended his eligibility while facing objections from legal representatives of Khurram Rokhri and Khalilur Rehman. The petitioners argued that Khan's previous conviction disqualified him from contesting the election.
The RO, after hearing arguments from both sides, chose to reserve his decision. The final verdict, which will determine Khan's participation in the upcoming polls, is expected to be announced tomorrow (Saturday).
