Mardan Rescue 1122 attends to 68 emergencies in 24 hours

PESHAWAR, Jan 31: Rescue 1122 Mardan played a crucial role, addressing a total of 68 incidents over the last 24 hours.
According to the spokesperson on Wednesday, the emergency response team dealt with 12 traffic accidents, 40 medical emergencies, 1 fire incident, 1 gunshot incident, 2 accidents requiring extrication services, 1 childbirth emergency, and 3 incidents involving falls from roofs.

Unfortunately, amidst these incidents, four lives were lost, and timely assistance was provided to transfer 65 individuals to various hospitals within the city for further medical attention.

Additionally, the health ambulance service extended its support in 10 emergencies. In this capacity, eight patients were transferred from one hospital to another within the district, while two patients required transfer to hospitals outside the district.
