Maulana Fazlur Rehman and senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Asad Qaiser have had a telephonic conversation

Quaid Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Maulana Fazlur Rehman and senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, former Speaker of National Assembly, Asad Qaiser have had a telephonic conversation in which they first congratulated each other on Eid. After that, the political situation of the country and the government formation process were discussed. Maulana Fazlur Rehman was informed in detail by Asad Qaiser about PTI's reservations on the way this government has been formed and is running. It was also agreed to enhance the regularity of the interactions between JUI and PTI. Both these parties reject the current process of government formation as it is clear as day that the people's mandate has been undermined against which organized popular struggle is the need of the hour. There is intellectual harmony between Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam in this regard, which is very welcome. All the political forces who want the sovereign rights of the people and the supremacy of the constitution and law should jointly fight the political struggle on the platform of 'Movement for Protection of the Constitution of Pakistan'.
