Monsoon Rainfall in Karachi Likely to Cease: Meteorologist
KARACHI, Sep 04: Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfraz has announced that the intensity of monsoon winds has decreased, reducing the likelihood of further rainfall in Karachi.
Speaking to the media, Sarfraz explained that the current monsoon system has stalled, leaving Karachi with a low chance of rain, though light showers are still possible in the suburban areas.
He noted that the monsoon system has brought heavy rain to Tharparkar in interior Sindh, with lighter rainfall observed in Badin, Mirpur Khas, Umerkot, Sanghar, and Larkana.
It is worth mentioning that various areas in Karachi, including Gulshan-e-Iqbal, University Road, and Old Vegetable Market, experienced rainfall last night.
