Islamabad, July 16: A devastating car-truck collision near Bhatti Gujjar on the Kalkarhar Motorway has resulted in the deaths of a mother and her son, while three others, including two children, were injured.
According to Rescue 1122, the accident occurred when the car driver reportedly fell asleep at the wheel. The vehicle, carrying a family traveling from Lahore to Islamabad, collided with a truck.
The injured, among them a critically wounded girl, were swiftly transported to the trauma hospital in Kalkarhar for treatment. The tragic incident underscores the dangers of fatigue while driving, reminding all motorists to stay alert and rest when necessary.
