NA Committee Reveals Presence of 380 Illegal Guesthouses in Islamabad

Islamabad: The National Assembly's Standing Committee on Interior held a meeting where alarming revelations were made about the presence of 380 illegal guesthouses in Islamabad.

Nabeel Gabol disclosed that these guesthouses are primarily occupied by Afghan nationals. He expressed concern over hosting individuals who disrespect the Pakistani flag abroad, referencing incidents in Germany.

Gabol also highlighted issues at the Pakistan-Iran border, pointing out ongoing smuggling activities. The Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) corroborated the existence of illegal guesthouses in the capital.
