NAB to oppose Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi’s plea for sentence suspension in IHC

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) will deploy a five-member prosecution team to oppose the application of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi, seeking suspension of their sentences in the £190 million case. The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has scheduled a separate hearing for the plea on June 5.
The special NAB team, formed under the direction of Prosecutor General Syed Ehtesham Qadir Shah, will be led by Sardar Muzaffar Ahmed Khan. Other members include Irfan Ahmed, Sohail Arif, Rafi Maqsood, and Yasir Saleem Rana.
