National Kabaddi Championship heats up with six matches on Thursday

ISLAMABAD, Feb 28: The National Kabaddi Championship organized by the Pakistan Kabaddi Federation is gearing up for an exciting day of competition tomorrow (Thursday) with six matches scheduled at Jinnah Stadium, Islamabad..

The matches scheduled for tomorrow include Pakistan Police facing off against Islamabad, while the Higher Education Commission takes on Gilgit-Baltistan. Additionally, Pakistan Army will compete against Punjab, Pakistan WAPDA will clash with Balochistan, and Islamabad will lock horns with Gilgit-Baltistan once again.

Muhammad Sarwar Rana, the Secretary General of Pakistan Kabaddi Federation, expressed enthusiasm for the event, highlighting the participation of teams representing twelve departments, provincial, and regional associations from across the nation. These teams, including stalwarts like Pakistan Army, Pakistan WAPDA, and Pakistan Police, are divided into four groups, ensuring fierce competition throughout the championship.

The championship, which commenced earlier, is scheduled to run until March 3rd, promising days filled with exhilarating kabaddi action. At the conclusion of the event, deserving players will be rewarded with prizes for their outstanding performances on the kabaddi field.
