LAHORE, : Mian Nawaz Sharif, a prominent leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), and former Prime Minister has officially submitted his nomination papers for NA-130, accompanied by Bilal Yasin as his covering candidate. The crucial scrutiny process for Nawaz Sharif is scheduled to take place on December 26.

Meanwhile, on the Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) front, it Punjab President Dr. Yasmin Rashid has submitted her nomination papers for NA-130, signaling a competitive electoral landscape. Additionally, representatives Sufi Khaliq and Ahmed Butt have submitted papers on behalf of the Jamaat-e-Islami party, adding further diversity to the candidate pool.
