Nearly 200,000 People Flock to Tourist Destinations in KP During Eid Holidays
Peshawar, Zahid Khan, the Tourism Advisor, revealed that the province saw a surge in tourists during the Eid al-Fitr holidays. Over two days, more than 174,000 tourists visited various tourist spots. The provincial government is committed to providing all possible facilities to tourists.
Comparing to the previous year, the increase in tourist footfall is a positive sign for the province's tourism sector. Under the supervision of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Tourism Police, the tourist helpline "1422" remains operational 24/7, offering tourists access to all kinds of information.
Tourism Advisor Zahid Khan also highlighted the deployment of young tourism police officers at tourist destinations, ensuring the safety and convenience of visitors.
