LAHORE, May 18: Pakistan's Nida Dar etched her name in cricketing history during the second Women's T20I against England in Northampton. Despite Pakistan's loss by 65 runs, Dar's bowling performance secured her the coveted title of the highest wicket-taker in the format.
The 37-year-old skipper claimed two wickets in her 141st T20I appearance, surpassing Australia's Megan Schutt's record of 136 wickets. Dar now stands tall with an impressive 137 wickets to her name.
The list of top wicket-takers in Women's T20Is sees Ellyse Perry (Australia) in third place with 126 wickets, followed by Anisa Mohammed (West Indies) with 125 wickets, and Shabnam Ismail (South Africa) rounding out the top five with 123 wickets.
While England took a commanding 2-0 lead in the series, Nida Dar's individual brilliance provided a shining moment for Pakistan on a disappointing day.
