Opposition Leader Omar Ayub Blames Govt for Economic Collapse PTI to stage 8 September rally at every cost

LAHORE, Sep 03: Omar Ayub, the Opposition Leader in the National Assembly, has criticized previous administrations for their role in destroying a thriving economy, which he claims continues to impact the nation negatively today.
Speaking to the media in Lahore, Ayub praised the economic performance during the PTI government, stating, "Under Imran Khan's leadership, the economy was in excellent shape. The task of negotiating with political parties was assigned to Mahmood Achakzai. We did not beg anyone; it was Khawaja Asif who was pleading and even fabricating reports about Nawaz Sharif's health to mislead the cabinet."
Ayub also remarked that Khawaja Asif's mental disorder was not a mistake but a result of internal dissatisfaction within his own party. "We seek forgiveness only from Allah for any sins, not for actions we did not commit," he added.
He announced that PTI will hold a major rally on September 8 as directed by the party's founder.
Further, Ayub accused General Bajwa, the PML-N, PPP, and MQM of wrecking the economy, claiming, "During our tenure, we had billions in dollar reserves. The thriving economy was devastated, and now young people are lining up for passports to leave the country."
