Pakistan, China celebrate Spring Festival on Year of Wood Snake

The Ministry of Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives, in collaboration with the Chinese Embassy in Islamabad, organized a Spring Festival celebration at the Pakistan National Council of Arts (PNCA). The event aimed to honor the enduring friendship between Pakistan and China.

The occasion was attended by notable figures, including Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal and Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong, alongside Minister for Maritime Affairs Qaisar Ahmed Shaikh, who participated in the inauguration ceremony.

Cultural performances from both nations captivated the audience, showcasing the vibrant traditions of Pakistan and China. The festival, also referred to as the Year of the Wood Snake, emphasized the themes of unity and shared prosperity.
