Pakistan Coast Guards Seize 273 kg meth ice worth of billions in Gwadar Operation
GWADAR: The Pakistan Coast Guards thwarted a smuggling attempt in Gwadar, seizing a massive haul of high-quality narcotics valued at billions of rupees.
Acting on intelligence received from confidential sources, the Coast Guards launched a targeted operation in the Marine Drive area. Mobile patrol parties were formed to meticulously comb through suspicious locations. Their vigilance paid off when, during an inspection at Jhanda Post, officers discovered 273 kilograms of meth ice meticulously concealed within hidden compartments aboard a suspect vessel.
The seized drugs, estimated to hold a staggering global market value of approximately $54.3 million, represent a major blow to criminal networks operating in the region.
