Pakistan Invites Turkmenistan companies to Invest in Energy,Technology Sectors: Ishaq Dar

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has extended an invitation to Turkmenistan companies to invest in Pakistan, highlighting the historical and evolving relationship between the two nations.
At a joint press conference with Turkmenistan’s Foreign Minister Rashid Mirdov, Dar emphasized the positive trajectory of Pakistan-Turkmenistan relations and the commitment to strengthen high-level dialogues and exchanges. The discussion covered a range of topics, including regional and global developments, as well as bilateral agendas.
Dar expressed anticipation for Turkmenistan's national leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhammadov's upcoming visit to Pakistan and stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation in energy and technology sectors. He also highlighted the role of the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) in facilitating investments.
Turkmenistan’s Foreign Minister Mirdov thanked Pakistan for its hospitality and confirmed that discussions addressed various issues, including energy, investment, and technology. Both countries assured full cooperation to further strengthen their bilateral ties.
The meeting underscored a shared commitment to deepening cooperation and fostering investment opportunities between Pakistan and Turkmenistan.
