PCB unveils PSL Season 9 match timings and ramadan schedule amidst excitement!

LAHORE, Feb 17: The anticipation for Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 9 reaches fever pitch as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) unveils the match timings and special Ramadan schedule, with the tournament set to kick off on Saturday, February 17, in Lahore.

The defending champions Lahore Qalandars will square off against Islamabad United in the inaugural match at 8 PM, marking the start of an exhilarating cricketing extravaganza.

During doubleheaders, the action-packed days will see the first match commence at 2 PM, followed by a thrilling night match starting at 7 PM.

As the holy month of Ramadan approaches, slated to begin around March 10 or 11, PCB announces a shift in match timings to accommodate both cricketers and fans. Matches during Ramadan will commence at 9 PM, allowing ample time for prayers before fans and players immerse themselves in the thrilling cricketing spectacle.

Ahead of the inaugural match, a vibrant opening ceremony awaits cricket enthusiasts, featuring performances by renowned artists including Ali Zafar, Aima Baig, Arif Lohar, and Noori. The festivities, complete with fireworks and a dazzling laser show, promise an unforgettable start to the tournament at the iconic Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

With players from across the globe joining their respective teams, anticipation mounts as teams declare readiness for the intense competition ahead.

PSL Season 9 will feature a total of 34 matches between six teams across two phases, culminating in the grand finale scheduled for March 18 in Karachi, ensuring a thrilling journey for cricket aficionados nationwide.
