Peshawar Zalmi to Host PSL-9 spectacular unveiling ceremony at Khyber Pass

PESHAWAR, Feb 13: As the highly anticipated Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 9 draws near, Peshawar Zalmi has announced a traditional unveiling ceremony at the historic Khyber Pass, set to captivate fans with a blend of ancient traditions and modern technology. Scheduled just five days before the start of the season, the ceremony promises to transport Zalmi supporters back in time while infusing the historic setting with the magic of 3D projection.

The announcement, made by the 2017 PSL champions, has ignited excitement among fans, with a teaser shared on social media hinting at the mesmerizing spectacle to come. The ceremony will see the ancient stones of the Khyber Pass illuminated in vibrant yellow hues, paying homage to the rich heritage and spirit of the beloved city.

Utilizing cutting-edge technologies such as 3D illumination, projection mapping, building projection, video mapping, and laser projection, the unveiling promises to be a visually stunning experience, transcending the boundaries of time and tradition.

Led by captain Babar Azam, Peshawar Zalmi aims to build on their playoff run from the previous season, where they narrowly missed out on a finals berth after a defeat to defending champions Lahore Qalandars. With a strong track record of reaching four finals in the last eight editions of the PSL and consistently making it to the playoffs, Zalmi is determined to reclaim the title they last won in 2017. The upcoming season is scheduled to kick off on February 17.
