PM Shahbaz Sharif Receives Eid Greetings from Kuwaiti Prime Minister

Islamabad: Kuwaiti Prime Minister, Hazzaa Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah, extended Eid greetings to Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif via telephone.

During the conversation, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif expressed gratitude for the congratulatory message from the Kuwaiti leadership on his election. He highlighted the longstanding and historic fraternal relations between Pakistan and Kuwait, emphasizing the commitment to enhancing bilateral relations for the mutual benefit of both nations' citizens.

In this context, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif not only emphasized the need for promoting economic and trade cooperation between Pakistan and Kuwait but also reaffirmed the intention to expedite the implementation of signed agreements and memorandums of understanding between the two countries, signed last year.

Both leaders prayed for the safety and well-being of the people of Pakistan and Kuwait, as well as for the end of Israeli oppression and injustice against Palestinian brothers and sisters, as part of the Muslim ummah's solidarity.

The Kuwaiti Prime Minister expressed good wishes for the people of Pakistan and reiterated the Kuwaiti government's desire for further cooperation with Pakistan.
