PM Shehbaz Orders Third-Party Audit of Ramadan Relief Package 2025
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed a third-party audit of the Prime Minister Ramadan Relief Package 2025 to ensure transparency and efficiency in aid distribution.
According to a statement from the PM Office, Shehbaz chaired a review meeting on the relief package, where officials briefed him on its progress.
It was revealed that 63% of eligible beneficiaries have already received financial assistance, with complete documentation maintained for each recipient. Additionally, 2,224 officials are deployed to oversee the package’s implementation.
The briefing further disclosed that over 1.5 million beneficiaries have been contacted via telephone to facilitate the relief process.
PM Shehbaz emphasized the need for an independent audit to maintain accountability and ensure that aid reaches deserving individuals without any irregularities.
