PML-N and PPP Fail to Reach Agreement on Government Formation, Talks to Continue

Lahore: Despite holding their third meeting, the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) could not come to an agreement on government formation. It was decided during the meeting to prolong the discussions and reconvene on Monday to further deliberate on the matter.
A joint declaration was issued following the meeting of coordination committees from both parties, held in Islamabad. According to the statement, detailed discussions were conducted on the proposals put forth by each side, resulting in significant progress on various issues. However, in order to finalize matters, both parties opted to schedule another meeting for Monday to deliberate on further recommendations.
The joint declaration emphasized the shared belief that a robust democratic government is essential for ensuring stability in Pakistan. Representing the PML-N were Ishaq Dar, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Azam Nazir Tarar, and Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan, while the PPP delegation comprised Syed Murad Ali Shah, Qamar Zaman Kaira, Saeed Ghani, Nadeem Afzal Chan, Nawab Sanaullah Zehri, Shuja Khan, and Sardar Bahadur Khan Sehar.
As the discussions continue, both parties remain committed to forging a path towards a stable and prosperous future for Pakistan through democratic means.
