Police Nab Fraudster Couple Posing as Domestic Workers in Lahore
LAHORE, Aug 25: The Gawalmandi Mayo Hospital Police conducted a successful operation, arresting a deceitful couple who posed as domestic workers to rob homeowners.
According to the police, the male suspect exploited his supposed poverty to secure domestic employment for his wife in various homes. Once they gained the family’s trust, the couple would serve drug-laced food to their employers, rob them, and vanish without a trace.
The suspects had been wanted by the Burki Police for the past three years. Using advanced technology and human intelligence resources, the Mayo Hospital Police managed to track down and apprehend the fugitives.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Parveen and her husband Sarwar. They have been handed over to the relevant police authorities for further investigation.
SP City, Qazi Ali Raza, commended Muhammad Khurram, the in-charge of the Mayo Hospital Police, and his team for their diligent work. He stated that efforts are being intensified to ensure the arrest of all suspects wanted in criminal cases.
