PPP Seeks Permission for 'President's Day' Celebration at Minar-e-Pakistan

Lahore: The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has officially requested permission to hold a 'President's Day' event at Minar-e-Pakistan to celebrate President Asif Ali Zardari's 69th birthday.

According to sources, the party has submitted an application seeking approval for a fireworks display and a cake-cutting ceremony on the night of July 25. The request was filed by PPP leader Faisal Mir to the Deputy Commissioner of Lahore.

The PPP also seeks authorization to set up seating and tents for 1,000 attendees. Additionally, the application includes a request for a musical night as part of the celebrations.
