PTI directs candidates to hit streets for peaceful election campaign
ISLAMABAD, January 28: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has given a directive to its candidates and supporters to hit the streets starting from Sunday for an energetic election campaign. The call to action includes organizing public meetings in every constituency, signaling the official commencement of the election campaign. This directive has been issued by the founder chairman, Imran Khan.
Imran Khan stressed that engaging in peaceful election campaigning is a legal and constitutional right for every citizen. He highlighted that the Election Commission of Pakistan is obligated to provide equal opportunities to PTI, allowing the party to mobilize public support and effectively convey its message to the people. Furthermore, Khan emphasized the importance of candidates publicizing their election symbols to ensure voter clarity.
It is noteworthy that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf had announced the official launch of its election campaign nationwide, scheduled to commence from Sunday. In alignment with the founder chairman's instructions, PTI candidates for both the National and Provincial Assembly are gearing up to initiate peaceful political and electoral activities.
A party spokesman acknowledged the challenges faced during previous national elections, citing alleged tyranny and severe rigging. Despite these obstacles, Tehreek-e-Insaf is committed to steering the country toward constitutional and lawful practices in a democratic manner. The spokesman reiterated the party's reliance on public support and expressed the belief that adhering to the constitution, with the backing of the Supreme Court, would ensure the supremacy of law. The party's leadership, under Imran Khan, envisions breaking the shackles of fear and slavery, paving the way for genuine freedom for the nation.
