PTI Leader Alleges caretaker government figure earns 85 billion through wheat import

Islamabad, April 30: PTI leader Aun Abbas has leveled serious allegations against a member of the caretaker government, claiming they earned billions through wheat imports from Ukraine. Speaking in a Talk show with private TV channel, Abbas stated that an individual within the interim setup amassed a whopping 85 billion rupees in profit from these transactions. The accusation adds fuel to the ongoing debate surrounding wheat purchases and farmers' protests, as highlighted by Talal Chaudhry on the same program. Chaudhry expressed solidarity with the farmers, emphasizing the need for justice. Meanwhile, Senator Faisal Vawda called for stringent action against those implicated in the alleged wheat import scam, urging accountability and transparency in governance.
