PTI's Former MLA Adeel Khan Arrested Following Bail Cancellation in May 9 Cases
Karachi: The Special Anti-Terrorism Court ordered the arrest of former PTI MLA Adeel Khan after canceling his bail in connection with three cases related to the May 9 cases. The court session, held at the Anti-Terrorism Complex in Karachi Central Jail, saw the presence of several key figures, including Haleem Adil Sheikh and Raja Azhar, who appeared for the hearing.
Adeel Khan, a former Sindh Assembly member, was taken into custody by court police following the court's directive. His bail was revoked due to his failure to appear in previous hearings. The three cases against him are registered at the Tipu Sultan and Firozabad police stations.
The court has scheduled the next hearing for these cases on August 5. The May 9 tragedy, which led to these legal proceedings, continues to be a focal point of judicial and political scrutiny.
