PTI's Sanam Javed takes battle to Supreme Court
ISLAMABAD, Jan 25: Sanam Javed, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) candidate, has filed an appeal with the Supreme Court after the rejection of her nomination papers for National Assembly Constituencies NA 119, NA 120, and Provincial Assembly Constituency PP 150.
Multiple appeals challenging the rejection of nomination papers by Sanam Javed, the nominated candidate of PTI, have been lodged in the Supreme Court. Simultaneously, Shaukat Basra has also appealed against the rejection of his nomination from National Assembly Constituency NA 163.
The petitioners in these appeals are seeking the annulment of the decisions made by the election tribunals regarding the rejection of their nomination papers.
