Rawalpindi police arrest 13 suspects, seize drugs, alcohol, arms

RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi Police intensifies its crackdown on drug dealers, alcohol suppliers, and illegal arms holders, resulting in the arrest of 13 suspects and the recovery of a cache of illicit substances and weapons.

According to a spokesperson for Rawalpindi Police, multiple operations yielded significant seizures across various police jurisdictions. Among the recovered items were hashish, ice, alcohol, and firearms.

The RA Bazar police apprehended Yusuf with one kilogram and 50 grams of hashish, while Tehzeebul Hasan was found in possession of one kilogram and 20 grams of hashish.
Hasan was nabbed with 520 grams of hashish by Civil Lines Police, while Ali was found with one kilogram and 280 grams of hashish.
Shahzad was arrested with 1 kilogram and 270 grams of hashish by Westridge police, and another suspect was found with 1 kilogram and 350 grams of hashish.
Waris Khan police seized 160 grams of ice from Khadim Hussain, while Gujar Khan police confiscated 20 liters of liquor from Tauseef.
Additionally, Bani police recovered 7 liters of liquor from Muzmal, while RA Bazar police seized 5 liters from Humayun.
Race Course police apprehended Niaz Ali with 5 liters of liquor, and Color Syedan police recovered a 30-bore pistol with ammunition from Muzamil and another pistol from Taimur.

Divisional SPs emphasized the relentless pursuit of those who prey on the youth with drugs, asserting that culprits will face prosecution with solid evidence. Operations against illegal arms holders are also being accelerated to ensure public safety and uphold the law.
