Rawalpindi Police Nab Two-Member Street Crime Gang
Rawalpindi: Rawalpindi's Civil Lines Police on Sunday apprehended a two-man gang suspected of involvement in street crimes and motorcycle thefts. The operation, conducted on March 31, 2024, resulted in the recovery of three stolen motorcycles and Rs. 20,100 in stolen cash.
According to authorities, the arrested individuals, identified as Basir Ahmed and Hyder Ali, have prior criminal records related to motorcycle theft and street crime. Superintendent of Police (SP) Potohar, Nasir Nawaz, emphasized that the apprehended suspects will be presented in court with substantial evidence. He reiterated that ensuring the safety of citizens' lives and property remains the top priority for the police force.
